Each year, the Estrie Rose des Vents helps more than 600 cancer patients and their loved ones. In 2020, the organization is celebrating its 30th anniversary and we are proud to support its Rose Verte campaign. Dominic Houde was the honorary sponsor for the 2020 campaign. Each year, our clients can purchase the famous bouquets of green roses in all of our Comfort Shops throughout the campaign.

Each year, our team helps deliver baskets of hope for the Fondation Rock-Guertin. The Fondation Rock-Guertin helps 2,100 families and 3,000 children in the region yearly.

The Fondation du CHUS helps improve the health services provided at the Fleurimont Hospital, the Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke and the CRCHUS. In addition to attending fundraising dinners in 2020–2021, we participated in the organization’s campaign by providing the bedding, pillows and mattresses offered in the mini-house draw

For a few years now, Matelas Houde has been funding one of Sherbrooke’s internationally renowned athletes, long-track speedskater Alex Boisvert-Lacroix. Whether it’s for equipment, training, competitions, travel, we know that each contribution helps lead him to victory. We are proud to be a major sponsor to this worthy and accomplished athlete.

The Fondation Centre jeunesse de l’Estrie helps nearly 175 children each year to overcome an often difficult start to life. The organization gives kids the opportunity to play sports and participate in artistic activities while continuing their studies and equips them for the future. Each year, Matelas Houde donates a certain number of mattresses to the foundation.

The Sercovie organization offers enrichment courses to people aged 50 and over, as well as home-support services for seniors coping with loss of independence. Our team is part of the organization committee for the Oktoberfest supper organized by Sercovie.

Cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly. That is why we are proud to give to the Quebec cancer Foundation and participate in the Défi Félix, which raises funds to support individuals with cancer.

La Maison Aube Lumière welcomes cancer patients who have reached the terminal stage of their illness and helps them and their loved ones through their difficult ordeals. The organization offers patients high-quality palliative care and responds to their psychological, social and spiritual needs.

With 5 children of his own, academic excellence is important to our current leader Dominic Houde. That’s why Matelas Houde has partnered with the CSRS between 2018 and 2021 to offer $30,000 toward student success

For 2 years, Matelas Houde has been involved with the Souper du Partage as a major sponsor. This traditional event makes it possible to distribute, some 350 Christmas baskets to families in need of the Memphremagog RCM each year in December. Over the course of 25 years, more than 6,600 baskets have been distributed thanks to the support of local citizens, sponsors and numerous volunteers.
